Let’s Talk

When I’m feeling confused or worried about the future I like to remind myself of this Proverb: “Trust in the Lord with all you heart, lean not on you own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path” Proverbs 3:5-6 It’s always encouraging to know what He promises. And then i can let go of my worries and just trust him. I liked what Susie said, “Let God, and let go”.


  2. “Never change for the world, but let the world change for you.” I always remind myself of this whenever I have anxiety, or I’m feeling down with negative thoughts.


  3. I get crap for this one, but I really don’t care.

    “Fake it ’till you make it!”

    This goes for moods and attitudes. sometimes faking that I am in a good mood gets me out of the funk. Why? Because people are more likely to approach someone who is smiling than being melancholy.

    Here is another nugget, when at first just made me angry, but it works; You choose how you feel.

    So the faking it will help you feel better, because you are choosing to be happy, or smiley even.

    When I get really poopy, I turn to what I love the most, cooking. I learn something new, and try it. That ALWAYS helps me feel better. Of course eating what I just made is always a huge reward. ALWAYS!
