Mini Chocolate Chip Cupcakes 

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 

8 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature

3/4 cups of sugar

large eggs, at room temperature

3/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup mini milk chocolate chips 

Chocolate Glaze

  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips 
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Using a mixer, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar together.
  3. Slowly add the butter and mix until the butter is well incorporated.
  4. Add each egg, one at a time.
  5. Add the milk and vanilla extract.
  6. Use a spatula to slowly blend in the chocolate chips. 
  7. Line a mini cupcake pan with mini cupcake liners.
  8. Add a tablespoon of the batter to each liner.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 mins.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool.
  11. Add the chocolate chips and milk to a pot over low heat. When the chips melt, gently stir until the glaze is smooth.
  12. Spoon the glaze over each cupcake.
