Pizza with Mushrooms, Asparagus, Jalapeño Peppers, Riced Broccoli, Roasted Red Bell Pepper’s, Bacon, and Pepperoni

1 Jalapeño Pepper

1/2 Cup Riced Broccoli

1 Cup Mushrooms

5 Stalks of Asparagus(thinly sliced)

1/2 Roasted Red Bell Pepper’s

1/2 Cup Chopped Bacon or Pancetta

Pepperoni Slices (as many you like)

1 Cup of Mozzarella

Pizza Dough (store bought or use my pizza dough recipe)

 

Hey everyone, tonight I felt for pizza, but I didn’t feel like making pizza dough. So, I went to Trader Joe’s and bought a pizza Crust. Then, I prepared my toppings.

To make riced broccoli you will need to put some broccoli in a food processor, and beat it until it is chopped into small, rice like pieces. After making the riced broccoli, slice your jalapeño peppers and asparagus stalks.  For the asparagus, cut each stalk into sections, then cut each section down the middle. Finally, brush your pizza dough with olive oil(top and bottom). Once the dough is ready put some tomato sauce on the dough and arrange your toppings in anyway you like. I put tomato sauce first, then I put riced broccoli, asparagus, roasted red bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, mushrooms,bacon, pepperoni, and cheese.

Bake the pizza on 425°F for 8 to 10 min, or until the dough is cooked. The dough is cooked when the edges are brown.

Give it a try. Create something unusual by experimenting with toppings.
