Easy Flat Bread

 

Flat breads are great to dip in curry sauce, create a simple pizza, a delicious wrap, or burrito.  This is my version of a flat bread.  It requires flour, ground flax seeds, coconut oil, and water.

To make my flat bread add 1 to 2 cups of flour to a bowl . The amount of flour depends on how many flat breads you need. Usually 1 cup of flour  will make 2 to 4 breads.

After measuring your flour add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, and begin to mix while adding 2 tablespoons of water, one at a time. Continue to add water until a dough forms .

Once a dough has formed you have to create small, or big balls from the dough. The bigger the ball the bigger the flatbread. Then roll out each ball using a rolling pin. Roll the dough until it is almost paper thin. When you have rolled out each piece, heat a pan with a few tablespoons of coconut oil, enough to coat the bottom of the pan .

Place the flat bread in the pan and flip it once the first side starts to brown, and bubble. When each side looks cooked(bubbles are present and there are brown spots), place the breads on a rack, and serve hot.

You can do alot with these flat breads. Make a breakfast burrito, dip them in gravy, make a veggie wrap, or add Nutella and fruit for an easy dessert.
